Steady Hand Training was founded on the principle that everyone is responsible for their own well being and safety. Having the knowledge, skills and training to react to a dynamic situation is often the best solution and gives power back to the people; allowing them to be an asset, NOT A LIABILITY, to both them and the people they hold dear.

Drive home your skills and learn how to fight in dynamic situations. Our live fire sessions are designed to advance your shooting skills in a safe, supportive environment at The Cove Campgrounds in Gore, VA or another outdoor range of your choice. Choose from 1-hour, 2-hour, or 3-hour sessions to suit your schedule and training objectives.
Home Defense Consultation

Start looking at home defense from the outside looking in; learn how to keep your home from becoming a target in the first place and increase security through a combination of hard and passive measures. Then learn how to defend your own from the confines of your home, find the firearm that works best for your situation and your family.
Virginia Conceal Carry Training

Take your Right to Bear Arms to the next level by training to get your Virginia Concealed Carry Permit! In this course we’ll cover the laws pertaining to Concealed Carry in the state of Virginia, fundamentals of marksmanship, the does and don’ts of carrying a firearm and how you can better protect not only yourself but the people you care about most.
Child Firearms Safety
